Fertilizer Regulations to be Phased In

According to WBAL News, Maryland agriculture officials say new fertilizer regulations may be phased in over the next year rather than during the fall planting season. The new regulations aim at cutting pollution in the Chesapeake Bay were going to get emergency status so they would be implemented for the fall planting season. The updated regulations- the phosphorus management tool, would be implemented through October 2014.
