A Tropical Depression has formed and is likely to strengthen to Tropical Storm Arthur today. The storm is expected to reach Maryland’ eastern shore at the end of the week, with the center staying offshore of Ocean City. Heavy rain and high winds possible at Delmarva beaches Thursday night into Friday. That might lead to more people heading for the mountains for the major holiday weekend.
