$20,000 Worth of Equipment Stolen

The Cumberland Times News reports West Virginia State Police is seeking information about the theft of an estimated $20,000 worth of welding and heavy metal working equipment from Appalachian Rail Services near Petersburg.

The stolen items were hauled away on the back of a trailer believed to be pulled by a truck or SUV, Senior Trooper B.W. Thorn said Monday afternoon.
 
The theft occurred sometime between late Friday and early Monday and was discovered by the office manager.
