New Allegany may cost $55 Million

Funding for the new Allegany High School project was the topic Friday morning on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” with School Superintendent David Cox joined by School President Nick Hadley and vice president Ed Root. The board is in the process of attempting to secure funds from the state and the county to complete what is looking like a $55 million project.  While the Allegany County Commissioners would like to see the cost somewhere in the mid forty range, Root says that isn’t realistic…
