On Saturday, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Shannon Broadway, age 18 of Cumberland, Maryland.
The summons was issued by a private citizen who alleged that on August 31, 2016, Broadway approached her as she was walking on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Frederick Street and started yelling at her which led to an assault.
The victim also claimed that her cellular phone was destroyed. Broadway was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
Shannon Broadway, age 18. Cumberland, Maryland.
CHARGES: Assault 2nd Degree, Disturbing the Peace, Telephone Misuse, Malicious Destruction of Property.
