Man Arrested After Marion Street Disturbance

On Saturday evening, at approximately 9:00 PM, Cumberland Police was dispatched to the 40 block of Marion Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival officers observed a male subject attempting to leave out the back door.

Officers contacted the subject and identified him as Reginel De Chalus.  De Chalus then shoved an officer attempting to flee. Mr. De Chalus was placed under arrest after assaulting the officer. 

De Chalus was taken before a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. Mr. De Chalus was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $2,500.00 bond.

Arrested – Reginel De Chalus (33) Cumberland, MD

Charge – Assault 2nd Degree
