A late Sunday afternoon head-on collision between a full-size SUV and motorcycle killed a Springfield, Wv man and seriously injured his wife. The accident occured on U.S. Route 50 near the intersection with Patterson Creek Rd.
Police say that the Harley-Davidson motorcycle occupied by Troy Lee Imes, 55, and Yvonne J. Imes 49, crossed the center line and collided head-on with Chevroleft Tahoe operated by Lois Ann Reed, 61, and occupied by James Edward Reed, 62.
Troy Imes was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:24 PM and Yvonne Imes suffered serious injuries and was transported by Conemaugh MedStar helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown…
