Criminal Summons Served
On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 the Cumberland City Police Department served a criminal summons on Lynette Marie Ellsworth. The summons stems from an assault which took place at a residence in the 500 Henderson Avenue on January 21, 2013. Ellsworth allegedly slapped an adult female in the face at this residence. Charges were applied for through District Court which resulted in the summons being issued.

Lynette Marie Ellsworth – Age; 28, Cumberland, MD
Charges:
Second degree assault.
Criminal Summons Served
On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 the Cumberland City Police Department served a criminal summons on Justin Tyler Braithwaite. The summons stems from a theft investigation which took place in the 900 block of Maryland Avenue on January 19, 2013. Braithwaite allegedly stole scrap metal from this location on that date.

Justin Tyler Braithwaite – Age; 24, Cumberland, MD
Charges:
Burglary second degree and theft less than $1,000.00.
Criminal Summons Served
On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 the Cumberland City Police Department served a criminal summons on Jessica Alexis Jones. The summons stems from an assault investigation which took place in the area of Liberty Street at Baltimore Street on January 11, 2013. Jones allegedly assaulted another adult female by striking her in the head. Charges were applied for through District Court which resulted in the summons being issued.

Jessica Alexis Jones – Age; 20, Ridgeley, WV
Charges:
Second degree assault and disturbing the peace.
Arrest Warrant Served
On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 the Cumberland City Police Department arrested William Webster Cook Sr on an arrest warrant. The warrant stems from an assault which took place in the 100 block of Columbia Street on January 19, 2013. On that date Webster allegedly assaulted an adult male by striking him several times in the face. The male victim was briefly knocked unconscious due to the assault by Cook. The victim was transported to the local hospital by private vehicle for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Cook was served with the warrant then taken to District Court for his initial appearance. Cook was released on his personal recognizance.

Charges:
Second degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Criminal Summons Served
On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 the Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Laurie Lee Shell. The summons stems from an assault which took place at a residence in the 500 Henderson Avenue on January 21, 2013. Shell allegedly stole a pair of shoes at this residence. Charges were applied for through District Court which resulted in the summons being issued.

Laurie Lee Shell – Age; 38, Cumberland, MD
Charges:
Theft less than $100.00.
