9/11 Memorial Ride

Citizens of Cumberland, surrounding areas and Rocky Gap State Park will have the opportunity to welcome and show their patriotism to the 9/11 Memorial Riders this Friday. The riders will depart Shanksville and arrive in Cumberland at approximately 9 a.m. They will travel down Mechanic Street, make a left at the fire station and travel out Frederick Street. After making a right at Nave’s Crossroad they will continue onto the eastbound ramp at Interstate 68, and then take the exit for Rocky Gap State Park and cross the bridge into the park. The riders need a brief stop before heading to Hagerstown. Department of National Resources Rangers Melbourne and lronside have suggested an area in the park for the motorcycles to park and use their facilities.
