AAA to provide assistance

November 26th, 2013 by WCBC Radio

AAA Mid-Atlantic estimates it will come to the rescue of nearly 23,000 stranded motorists during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend – with nearly 6,000 expected in Maryland.   “Cold temperatures and wintry weather take their toll on vehicles, especially if they have not been properly maintained and prepared for winter,” said Christine Sarames Delise, a spokesperson for AAA Mid-Atlantic. “With approximately 819,000 Marylanders expected to travel by car during the holiday, many motorists could unfortunately be left stranded away from home this holiday if they haven’t properly prepared their vehicles.”
