On 05/03/2013, at approximately 0700 hours, Troopers from the Cumberland Barrack responded to westbound Interstate 68 near Vocke Road for two motor vehicle collisions. Just after Jacobs’ collision, Brittany Wilson of Ridgeley, West Virginia was unable to control the speed of her 1998 Kia Sportage and collided into the rear of a 2008 Jeep Compass, operated by Craig Williams of Baltimore, Maryland, that was stopped in the lane of travel due to the collision in the roadway just ahead. Edith Williams, a passenger of the Jeep Compass and Brittany Wilson were both transported to the Western Maryland Regional Hospital for minor injuries. The westbound lanes of Interstate 68 were closed for approximately 45 minutes.
