The following press release was sent by the Allegany County Public School system this morning at approximately 7:03 a.m.:
As the result of downed trees and power lines on Town Creek Road south of Old Williams Road, ACPS Bus #8 to Flintstone, Washington, and Fort Hill will be unable to transport students north of Old Williams Road this morning as it can not access the closed area of road. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
ACPS Bus #45 to Fort Hill and Washington will be replaced by bus #171 this morning, which will result in an approximate delay of 40 minutes picking students up. Thank you for your patience.
