In addition to information released earlier on November 8, 2012 in reference to the arrest of 35 year old JEROME JOSEPH PHILLIPS III of Cumberland, MD by Mineral County, WV authorities for Robbery, additional charges have been issued in Allegany County Maryland for the recent home invasions that occurred on November 6, 2012.
By way of an arrest warrant obtained by the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) on 11/08/12, the following additional charges were issued against Phillips:
Burglary 1st Degree (3 counts)
Burglary 3rd Degree (3 counts)
Assault 1st Degree
Assault 2nd Degree
Dangerous Weapon-Int/Injure
Theft less than $100.00 (3counts)
The arrest warrant is being forwarded to West Virginia where Phillips is being detained on Robbery charges and will be filed as a detainer pending extradition procedures.
At the present time, there is no current arrest photograph of Phillips for release in Maryland due to the fact that Phillips has not been processed in this state.
