On November 25th, 2019, at approx. 1900 hours, the Cumberland City Police responded to the area of Industrial Blvd and Wineow Street for the report of a motor vehicle crash with report of injuries. Upon officer’s arrival, it was found that a 2014 Toyota Tundra being operated by Christopher Himmler, age 55, of Cumberland, Maryland, crossed the center median of Industrial Blvd. and entered oncoming traffic. The vehicle then collided head on with a small passenger car. As a result of the crash, both drivers were transported to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Westbound Industrial Blvd. was shut down for approximately 1 hour while emergency personnel investigated the crash and removed debris. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
