11:20 AM UPDATE: Power has now been restored.
INITIAL REPORT:
A power outage is affecting over 1200 customers of Potomac Edison in the LaVale and Cumberland areas.
Allegany County 911 says they received a report of lines arcing in the Wright's Crossing area around 9:45 AM. They say some traffic signals have been affected, requiring additional caution.
Potomac Edison hopes to have power restored by 1:00 PM.
