Units on the scene report that no stabbing occurred but there was a first degree assault.
1:45 PM INITIAL REPORT
Allegany County 911 dispatched EMS and law enforcement agencies to a reported stabbing on Amherst Avenue, in the Bowman's Addition area of Cumberland..
The call came in during the 1 PM hour.
