Allegany College adjusts staffing during COVID-19

March 17th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) President Dr. Cynthia S. Bambara has taken emergency measures outside of normal ACM policies to effectively manage operations and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. The college remains open to provide support to students at this time.

ACM will provide support to students, to the extent possible, with timely communications/responses to questions and/or assistance while also ensuring the safety of its employees. Vice-Presidents, Deans and Directors have been charged with working with supervisors and departments to identify how to alternate staff schedules while guaranteeing that business operations continue to the reasonable extent possible. Telework guidelines are in place as ACM works to keep the health and well-being of its students and employees its highest priority.
