Allegany County Narcotics Task Force Executes Warrants In Frostburg Area

(Frostburg, MD) – On October 16, 2018, members of the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force, with the assistance of the Cumberland Police Department C.E.R.T., the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack,  Garrett County Narcotics Task Force, Frostburg City Police Department, the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Aviation, Maryland State Police K9, and the Frostburg State University Police, executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on Maple Street in Frostburg. This warrant stemmed from an ACNTF investigation into the distribution of heroin and crack cocaine in the Frostburg area.

During the execution of the warrant, three subjects were apprehended after they were observed fleeing the rear of the residence. During the subsequent search, ACNTF Investigators located felony amounts of heroin and crack cocaine, and other evidence related to the distribution of narcotics inside the residence.

As a result of the investigation, the following subjects were placed under arrest: 

Travis Leon Shears, 29, of Baltimore, was charged with:

-      Possession with Intent to Distribute: Heroin

-      Possession with Intent to Distribute: Crack Cocaine

-      Two counts of Possession: Not Marijuana.

Shears was also found to have four active arrest warrants through Allegany and Frederick Counties.

Tavon Carter, 30, of Baltimore, was charged with:

-      Possession with Intent to Distribute: Heroin

-      Possession with Intent to Distribute: Crack Cocaine

-      Two counts of Possession: Not Marijuana

Trevor Wilson Neverdon, 18, of Woodstock, was found to have two active arrest warrants through Baltimore County.

Justin Edward Shriver, 34, of Frostburg, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest through Allegany County Circuit Court.
