Allegany County records one new COVID-19 case

The Allegany County Health Department reports one new case of COVID-19 today, bringing the cumulative total for the county to 178.  The latest case involves a female community member in her 30s who is not affiliated with any known outbreaks and has not required hospitalization.

 

As of Friday, 2,867 Allegany County residents have been tested for COVID-19.  With 189 test results still pending, there have been 178 positive and 2,500 negative tests.

    The takeaway from this is, a female in her 30s not affiliated with any known outbreaks, it can come from anywhere, from seemingly anyone at anytime.
