The Longest Day, an event to honor the strength, passion and endurance of those facing Alzheimer's disease, is taking place today.
Until10:00pm, a Bowl-a-Thon is being held at the White Oak Bowling Lanes, in Cumberland, to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association.
According to local volunteer Steve College, White Oak Bowling Lanes will generously donate a portion of each game bowled to the Alzheimer's Association. Bowling is optional!
A Silent Auction is being held, and hourly door prizes will be awarded. There is also entertainment for your enjoyment.
Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's with more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicating themselves to their care.
