Analysts See Gas Prices Leveling Off

Motorists have seen gas prices drop steadily for the past several weeks, bringing much needed relief at the pump as the summer driving season gets under away.  According to AAA the average price for regular unleaded gasoline is $3.42 per gallon in Cumberland. In Maryland, the average price is $3.45 per gallon, seven cents less than last week. Nationally, the average price is $3.54 per gallon, which is five cents less than last week.  A year ago at this time, prices were more than $3.70 per gallon.  AAA analysts believe gas prices could fall as into the $3.00 to $3.25 range later this summer- a more likely scenario will see the rates level out at around $3.50…

    This area is a joke. I was in Winchester, VA this past weekend and the price for 87 Unleaded was $3.24.
