Thanks in large part to a donation from the Cumberland Rotary Club, improvements are continuing at the Allegany County Animal Shelter. The service clubs allocation committee announces the recipients each fall from its biggest annual fundraiser- Rotary Radio Day- and the shelter was one of the organizations selected this year. Shelter Manager Karl Brubaker said the funds allowed for the purchase of badly needed new cages.
