Although no specific numbers were announced, there were more layoffs last week at the local CSX operation in South Cumberland- and another round could come as early as next month. CSX Spokesman Rob Doolittle would not confirm the number of layoffs, but did issue a statement confirming that some CSX positions in Cumberland were being eliminated. Cumberland City Councilman Eugene Frazier is retired from CSX, but still has family and friends who work there. Frazier tells WCBC News that although the company says that it communicates directly with employees about potential changes, most employees are simply hearing rumors up until action is taken…
