WCBC News has learned that Hampshire High School will no longer be a member of the AMAC conference. Mrs. Candy Canan, the Principal of Hampshire HS, received complaints from the men's and women's basketball coaches and baseball coach that they wanted more freedom to "schedule". The vote was 6 for independence, 5 for the AMAC and 2 for the PVC. Last month Frankfort announced it would be dropping out of the conference for similar reasons.
