Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake says she will replace Anthony Batts as Police Commissioner. In a statement released late Wednesday the mayor announced that, "effective immediately, Deputy Police Commissioner Kevin Davis will become Interim Commissioner of the Baltimore Police Department." Earlier in the day, the Fraternal Order of Police called the department's response to the April riots "inadequate," and said the poor response was due to a lack of leadership, equipment and training.
