Don't put Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake down on the list of politicians who want to legalize marijuana. The mayor told The Baltimore Sun she's basically in agreement with Governor Martin O'Malley who when asked said he's seen how much damage is done to families and society. She told the paper she won't be "waving the Schmoke flag of legalization," a reference to former Mayor Kurt Schmoke who came out in favor of decriminalization years ago. While not coming out vehemently opposed to the concept, the mayor said she doesn’t think the timing is right for Maryland to move in that direction.
