The City of Cumberland announced today that it was closing the Baltimore Street Underpass, which allows pedestrians to go under CSX rails when a train is on the tracks, until further notice.
The underpass has been closed in prior years for similar reasons, while many will not use the option due to security and sanitary concerns.
