Baltimore Sun Honors Hogan

An honor for Maryland Governor-Elect Larry Hogan from what some might say is an unlikey source. The Baltimore Sun did not endorse Hogan in the general election race, but the newspaper did name the Governor-Elect its Marylander of the Year. In an editorial posted online and in the Sunday print editions, the paper said Hogan displayed, "Idependence and integrity", that puts him. "in a solid position to govern.". The editorial says his victory over Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, the better financed and better known candidate, changed Maryland politics. Baltimore Sun Opinon Page Editor Andy Green said the selection of Hogan was not soley based on the face that he overcame great odds to win the race, but rather had more to do with the manner in which he conducted his campaign…
