Bay Restoration Ahead of Schedule

According to two reports released by the Environmental Protection Agency Friday, the federal strategy Chesapeake Bay restoration is ahead of schedule for two of three key pollutants. Reducing nitrogen and sediment pollution is ahead of schedule with phosphorus reduction being behind schedule. The three are the key pollutants in the bay. Even with the success, some cleanup is being held up in some areas by budget concerns.
