On February 9, 2014 at approximately 8:20am officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to 314 Cecelia Street in reference to a Destruction of property complaint. When officers arrived at the residence they made contact with the complainant, who stated that she awoke this morning and discovered holes in her front door. Officers observed two small holes in the glass of her front storm door, and one small hole in a house storm window. Officers observed a silver in color BB lying between the storm window and door. While officers were checking the area, several vehicles in the area were found to have driver's side windows shot out. These vehicles were parked along the shoulders of Cecelia Street and Maryland Avenue. It is believed that the same person/persons are responsible for these incidents, and that a BB gun was used in inflict the damage. Damage in each individual incident is approximately valued at $500.00. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cumberland City Police Department at 301-777-1600.
