In apparent effort to boost revenue, one area the Allegany County Board of Education may look at is athletics. Several reports indicate that there are multiple ideas including raising the cost of admission to athletic events, and exploring the idea of charging broadcasting companies to cover athletic events. The Allegany County Board of Education plans to present their options at a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday.
