On Saturday, November 12, 2016, Members of the West Virginia State Police Moorefield/Petersburg Detachment located a deceased human body in a remote area of the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area, in Grant County, West Virginia.
Pursuant to an autopsy completed by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, the vicim was identified as Ivan Dickason Perlis.
