Body Found In River Identified As City Man

The body of Jason Leonard Crawford Sr., 36, was pulled from the North Branch of the Potomac River on Thursday evening after being discovered by a father and son who were kayaking, according to C3I.

The positive identification of Crawford, a Cumberland resident, was made Friday by the Maryland state medical examiner in Baltimore.

A report that Crawford was missing had been filed with the Mineral County Sheriff’s Department on May 15.
