BoE Officially Adopts 2017 Budget

The Allegany County Board of Education officially adopted its 2017 budget this week- however it was not an easy process as a number of difficult cuts were implemented.  The school board’s proposed $112.1 million budget for fiscal 2017 included a $1.8 million increase for operating expenses.
