Allegany County Board of Education President Robert Farrell tells WCBC that he has no doubt the board will deliver this year’s audit to the county commissioners prior to the deadline. After this past year’s audit was delivered ten months late- leaving the county out of compliance with its’ state and federal funding partners- the commissioners issued an ultimatum to the board last week: deliver on time or have capital dollars withheld. Farrell, on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show”, said he can understand the commissioner’s frustration and he and the board have taken steps to ensure the audit won’t be late again…
