The Allegany County Board of Education is scheduled to begin advertising for a new superintendent in the coming weeks and today is the deadline for the public to submit input for consideration. William. Middleton, Maryland Association of Boards of Education’s lead consultant of Superintendent Search Service discussed the process during the regular meeting of the school board. A new superintendent must be named before July 1. He said the board will strongly consider any community stakeholder input as part of the decision making process. Anyone wishing to provide input should focus on what characteristics you would like to see in the next superintendent…..
