Bohn Comments on Changes in Board with Possible Foote Replacement

October 25th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

With the removal of Wayne Foote as a member of the Allegany County Board of Education this week- a shift in power and overall dynamics on the board is a real possibility. For the past ten months the school board which took office in January has routinely engaged in public debate, often times heated arguments and demonstrated a general philosophical difference that has led to a series of 3-2 split votes on many key issues. With the board majority block- which has consisted of Foote, Robert Farrell and David Bohn- losing that all important deciding vote- the governor’s appointment to fill the vacant seat becomes key in the future direction of the board. Board vice president David Bohn tells WCBC News that if the appointee in question is someone more like-minded with members Tammy Fraley and Deb Frank- he can see the board taking major step backwards…

The board, and the school system in general, took a major step backwards when Bohn, Farrell, and Foote were elected as the Three Amigos. Good grief.

These 3 are more like the 3 Stooges rather than the 3 Amigos. Governor Hogan should appoint Carmen Jackson who ran in the last election. Farrell and Bohn are embarrassing Allegany County throughout the state.
