Due to the coronavirus pandemic- the Maryland Board of Education last week announced that Superintendent Karen Salmon had agreed to stay on an additional year. It appears that the Allegany County’s Board of Education will not be taking that approach- with the application and interview process to select the next local superintendent moving forward. Continuing the search in the midst of a pandemic is concerning for Board member David Bohn as he points to a definite impact on the interview process. Tammy wants to hand pick Dr. Kalbaugh. She will do whatever she can to push forward. She needs to stop making her “Together We Can” videos/campaigning and do what is right!
