Breaking and entering

On Saturday, March 17, 2012 the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a residence in the 600 block of Bedford Street in reference to a breaking and entering.  Upon the officers arrival contact was made with the victim who advised that his ex-girlfriend, Tracy Lynn Malloy arrived at his residence.  The victim then advised that Malloy was trying to gain entry into his residence at which time she damaged the rear screen door.  Molly ripped the screen door off the hinges and broke two window screens.  While officers were on the scene Malloy continued to yell and scream and would not lower her voice as instructed by officers.  Malloy was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters.  Malloy was then taken to District Court for her initial appearance at which time she was released on her personal recognizance.

 

Arrested:

Tracy Lynn Malloy          Age: 40          Cumberland, MD

 

Charges:

Attempted breaking and entering fourth degree, disorderly conduct, and destruction of property.

On Friday at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the Pepsi Cola Bottling Warehouse on Paca Street in reference to a reported breaking and entering.  As employees arrived to work on this date they found that the office had been broken into.  Unknown suspects entered the building and ransacked the office area.  The video surveillance recording system and a small amount of cash was stolen by the suspects.  The suspects caused heavy damage to the office equipment.
