On Friday, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the Bedford Street area for a reported Breaking and Entering. During the incident, a woman heard a sound and looked out of her window and observed two male subjects on her neighbors back porch, attempting to open a small window. Entry was not made into either residence. The subjects fled the area prior to the arrival of the Police. If anyone has any information regarding this attempted Breaking and Entering or others that have occurred in the area, please call the Cumberland Police at 301-777-1600.
