The state Route 135 bridge over CSX railroad tracks in Swanton is now reopen to traffic, according to the State Highway Administration. The project to replace the deteriorated concrete bridge deck, replace the walls of the bridge, repair concrete supports, clean and paint the structural steel and pave the roadway began on June 13. Although the bridge is reopen to traffic, a flagging operation will be used while crews complete final stages of the project.
