Budget Cuts Have Eliminated Nearly 200 Positions From School System

The new school year is less than a month old, but because of fewer funding dollars from both the state and local level, the administration knows it’s going to be a challenging year ahead.  Superintendent David Cox says that budget cuts over the past half dozen years has led to the elimination of nearly 200 positions system wide, and on an instructional level that has drastically increased the student to teacher ratio in some cases…
