If you have flight plans to Florida via BWI Marshall Airport, you might want to check with your airline.
Due to Hurricane Matthew, airlines are canceling a number of flights to coastal markets like Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
"A number of airlines have announced flexible change policies for their customers traveling to the south," BWI spokesman Jonathan Dean said in an email. "Customers with travel plans, particularly to those destinations impacted by the hurricane, should contact their airline for up-to-date flight status information or to inquire about changing their flights."
Southwest Airlines passengers may be able to re-book online or on their mobile device.
