Candidates For U.S. House of Representatives Participate In Forum

The Democratic and Republican candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives’ 6th District participated in a candidate forum this week sponsored by the Maryland Retired School Personnel Association. Democratic incumbent Representative John Delaney and Republican challenger Amie Hoeber attended the luncheon held at the Cumberland Country Club. Each candidate gave opening remarks and then fielded questions.  Hoeber, 74, was an undersecretary of the U.S. Army during the Reagan administration, and while she talked at length about national security- she also talked about retaining jobs and businesses in Allegany County…
