Candidates Weigh in on Proposed Frederick Street Bike Lane

One of the issues in the city of Cumberland generating some debate this past summer has been a long proposed bike lane along Frederick Street. A recent public meeting on the subject drew a large crowd of both supporter and opponants. The concept was asked of the candidates seeking a seat on the Cumberland City Council during the Allegany Chamber of Commerce candidates forum. Council candidate Dustin Freas said its difficult to speculate as to how this should play out given the strong opinions coming from both sides….
