September 15th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia announced Tuesday she will be in self-quarantine for two weeks, after being exposed to someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19.

Capito said she'll work from home in Charleston.

She will have to miss votes on the Senate floor because proxy voting is not permitted. However, she will be able to file proxy votes in committee meetings.
