On Saturday at approximately 2:12 pm, a Maryland State Trooper from the McHenry Barrack was dispatched to a single vehicle accident on Bear Hill Road in Grantsville. Investigation of the accident revealed that a 2011 Toyota pick up truck driven by Fay R. Wilt 70 of Grantsville, drove off the roadway a struck a telephone pole. Wilt refused medical treatment and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
