U.S. Senator Ben Cardin will host a town hall meeting in Ocean City, Md., with attendees of the Maryland Association of Counties 2019 Summer Conference. The open forum with government and elected officials from across Maryland is expected to be wide-ranging and to touch upon national and local issues. The senator will outline his support for programs of critical importance to Maryland communities, including those that better respond to America’s gun violence epidemic, guarantee access to affordable health care, improve infrastructure, combat opioid addiction, and expand the protection of clean water and the Chesapeake Bay. The senator also will hear directly from county officials and other participants on the issues that matter most to them.
