Cardin Joins Group of Senators Sending Letter to FBI on New Investigation

Members of Maryland’s congressional delegation are among those expressing concern on Capitol Hill about FBI Director James Comey’s handling of the investigation into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s emails. Rep. Elijah Cummings, the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, said he has “grave concerns that the credibility of the FBI could be damaged in immeasurable ways.” At the same time, U.S. Senator  Ben Cardin was one of four senators who sent a letter to Comey and Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who believe that the letter sent by Comey was “vaguely worded and leaves many questions unanswered”…
