Friday, January 15, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) will visit Western Maryland to explore issues related to public utility service and regional infrastructure. Specifically, Senator Cardin will tour the latest carbon-capture and battery storage technologies at the Warrior Run Generating Station and attend an Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) briefing on the expansion of broadband technology in area schools.
NOON* – U.S. Senator Ben Cardin will visit the AES Warrior Run Generating Station for a tour and discussion on the facility’s recent advancements, which include expanded carbon dioxide-capture technologies and the largest grid-scale, battery-based energy storage project in Maryland.
